Summary

The Quality Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the production of high-quality products. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, skilled in assembly processes, and committed to maintaining quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Essential Duties:

  • Comply with Safe work methods, policies, and procedures.

  • Inspect and document incoming product to documented requirements, such as engineering drawings, inspection test plans and first articles.

  • Perform in-process inspection of sub-assemblies in manufacturing.

  • Perform final inspection of provers prior to shipping.

  • Maintain accurate records of inspection results and communicate findings to relevant teams.

  • Assemble mechanical components according to provided instructions and drawings.

  • Use hand tools, power tools and machinery to complete assembly tasks.

  • Ensure proper alignment, fit, and functionality of assembled parts.

  • Collaborate with other departments to address quality issues and troubleshoot assembly related challenges.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma

  • associate degree or vocational school certificate preferred.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to use inspection tools and equipment required to inspect product.

  • Calipers, Pi Tape, Micrometers, Measuring Tape

  • Experience with MS office and Adobe Acrobat or similar programs.

  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
