This position is within the Back Office Financials & Reconciliation team, which provides capabilities to meet the ever-evolving compliance, regulatory and financial accounting needs of the global American Express Travel and Lifestyle Services (TLS) business. This team is part of the broader Global Platforms & Services team (GPX) that builds foundational capabilities through services, data, and automation that power and enhance customer and agent experiences within TLS, and, result in bringing American Express card membership to life.

How will you make an impact in this role?

The Associate - Digital Product Management role focuses on the provision of software solutions to meet the operational, compliance, regulatory and informational needs of TLS in the areas of financial accounting, supplier reconciliation and supplier settlement. This role involves partnering closely with stakeholders in the business, other product teams, and technology teams to coordinate the delivery of end-to-end solutions and process enhancements. Responsibilities include:

  • Gather, analyze and align on business requirements with stakeholders

  • Write user stories and define acceptance criteria

  • Design, configure and test solutions within the TLS Back Office application, CentralCommand

  • Partner with the technology team to design and deliver custom software solutions

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 3 years professional experience; preference will be given to candidates with experience in accounting and/or the travel industry (back-office operations specifically)

  • Experience with business analysis, software solution design, software configuration and user acceptance testing

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-starter who can work independently, has exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills, strong organizational skills and great attention to detail

  • Analytical mindset

  • Flexible and adaptable; comfortable working in an environment of frequent change

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with any of the following would be considered a plus:

  • Unit4 CentralCommand

  • Global Distribution Systems (especially Sabre)

  • SQL

  • Agile product development methodologies and tools (JIRA, Rally, Mural, etc.)

Qualifications

Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually bonus benefits
