Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. (HCS) is currently recruiting for a Manager, Business Analytics and Data Sciences located in Piscataway, NJ.
Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. provides account management and customer support services to key health care customers, including hospital systems and group purchasing organizations, leading health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, and government health care institutions. The company also provides contract management, logistics and supply chain functions for the major Johnson & Johnson franchises.
Johnson & Johnson Customer & Logistics Services (CLS) is a global Supply Chain organization that supports operating units across all of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies. CLS strives to deliver an exceptional customer experience through leading critical customer facing-functions such as distribution and transportation. In addition, CLS oversees critical business enablers, including how we gather and manage supply chain master data, safe and secure supply chain practices, product identification standards, and market/channel access capabilities. CLS supports all three sectors of Johnson & Johnson: Medical Device & Diagnostics, Pharmaceutical, and Consumer Products. This team is represented in multiple countries, and continues to grow globally in both visibility and responsibility. The CLS team reports to Johnson & Johnson Supply Chain and partners closely with groups throughout the supply chain organization.
Deliver G-LAC (Global Logistics Action Center) data analytics strategy roadmap and lead the execution and application of advanced analytics platforms to improve J&J’s lead-time and inventory visibility across business segments to optimize asset utilization in transportation, distribution and customer service.
Enable the development of analytics and optimization models by assembling data from a variety of J&J internal and external sources and develop optimization models to provide insights into cost and service opportunities.
Design, build and deliver cutting edge analytical solutions that have direct impact on the J&J Supply Chain and optimize the functioning of the G-LAC.
Analyze and synthesize disparate data sources and infer actionable business insights. Lead data mapping and preprocessing initiatives and document information flows to support analytical model building. Own the execution and reporting cadence of G-LAC analytics insights to extended to drive harmonized analytics and deliver business insights. Serve as a technical leader in the field of big data analytics to develop and implement analytical solutions as required, with responsibility and accountability to drive business solutions.
Enable predictive analytics capabilities for G-LAC Analytics and provide recommendations to the broader J&J supply chain organizations on inventory entitlement parameters.
Liaison with cross-functional and regional Supply chain partners to scope, analyze and recommend process improvements opportunities. Drive adoption of the G-LAC analytical solutions.
Lead the periodic and regional business reviews of the G-LAC metrics to J&J business franchises and provide committed adhoc and routine performance insights. Accountable for assigned business/regional value levers in the area of service, cash and cost.
Interface with the internal and external stakeholders to develop innovative solutions for global reporting and predictive analytics. Participate in benchmarking activities to keep up-to-date with the latest approaches and advances in Business Intelligence & Data Sciences and evaluate vendor tools and solutions as required.
Partner with IT Teams to build data lake and advanced analytics eco systems to develop solutions to support business uses of logistics data across the Enterprise.
Communicate with all levels of stakeholders as appropriate, including executives, data modelers, application developers, business users, and customers
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.
Minimum 8 years related experience.
Strong experience with Data Modeling and Data Warehouse/Data Lake design.
Detailed understanding of data mapping, master data management, integration frameworks, and system connectivity.
Advanced skills and demonstrated experience in advanced analytics and building visualizations using Tableau/Qlikview/Alteryx/SQL or similar technologies.
Strong skills in Big Data technologies including one or more of the following: Alteryx, Python, Cloudera, Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Shark, Spark.
Expertise with manipulating data to form unified data sets for analysis.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15% of the time and be based in Piscataway.
MBA or an advanced degree.
Focused degree in Supply Chain, Operations management, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or similar field.
Experience in owning and managing analytical projects and programs that involve integration of external/third-party information, and data quality initiatives.
Strong background in predictive analytics including machine learning.
Tableau Jedi certification or Zen Master recognition.
Working experience with statistical software.
Working knowledge of Enterprise Supply Chain IT solutions (Transportation Management System (TMS) software/systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), SAP, etc.).
Prior knowledge or experience implementing and managing supply chain visibility platforms and/or tools.
Experience with Six Sigma/Process Excellence tools, training and/or certification.
Demonstrated experience in translating analytical findings to business insights and communicating them to non-technical audiences.
