We are seeking a Healthcare Economics Consultant for our Pittsburgh, PA location responsible for designing and developing reports and analyzing data to measure clinical outcomes, network performance, and methodology levers. Responsibilities include: design and deploy key dashboards and analytic tools for self-service analysis and research and maintain and update automated processes within company reporting platforms; investigate key business problems through quantitative analyses of utilization and health care costs data; interpret and analyze clinical data from various sources and recommend best approaches for its consolidation analyses will be used to create viable, real - world solutions in a complex health care landscape; provide on - demand analysis and reporting on key business issues in support of our Company’s Clinical, Financial, Operational, and Quality performance measurement and operations; and lead projects to completion by contributing to reporting requirement gathering, development, and documentation.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related field.
5 years related progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. Will accept experience gained concurrently.
Must have 12 demonstrated ability with each of the following: (1) Interpreting and analyzing data on different healthcare management modules of TriZetto Facets, recommending best approaches and solutions that will be used to create viable, real-world solutions in the complex health care landscape; (2) Designing and planning BI environments, performing analytics and providing data integration solutions by researching and applying new reporting methodologies using SAP Business Objects Reporting Tools, bridging the gap between the technical data environments to present information; (3) Perform data exploration, validation, optimization and troubleshooting by writing complex queries involving Joins, Sub Queries, Nested Sub Queries and Co-Related Sub queries against databases; and (4) Designing, developing, validating and deploying ETL processes using Talend ETL tools.
