Job Summary

The Prepaid Card Data Analytics and Reporting team is looking for an experience data automation professional to join our team. In this role, you will be expected to automate data processes that support reporting and analytics with the Prepaid Card product. You will partner with Product, Strategies, Regulatory, Legal, Vendors (Visa) and Fraud & Claims Operations management. Our team supports all aspects of Data, Analytics and Reporting for this product. This analyst will be versatile and highly motivated to support a variety of business needs that require the ability to synthesize insights from various data sources. You will enable the integration of new and emerging sources of data enabled through technology and leverage these sources to better support line-of-business objectives.

The role requires the individual to extract transform and load data from multiple sources into multiple data platforms. The analyst is expected guide partners to define business questions, develop approaches and execute approaches to solving the business need. This role requires hands-on in data gathering leading to recommendations based on the findings. This will include:

•Identifying innovative uses of customer data to target high-value business opportunities and drive improved performance.

•Levering data from multiple sources (structured and unstructured) with various levels of data quality to support meaningful analyses for business questions.

•Interacting with business partners and vendors to execute on data and analytical deliverables

•Translate business questions into projects with clear objectives, create and maintain work tracking documentation.

•Present insights, implications and actionable recommendations to stakeholders and analytics leaders.

Job Description:

Leads & delivers the analytical work efforts for a dedicated business area or function and may utilize various resources across Analytical Teams; usually within a specific line of business or business discipline (card, call center, digital, etc.). Leverages multiple databases to acquire customer and performance data and demonstrates deep subject matter expertise in area of focus. Delivers individually or with the help of peers and others insightful data to be used in driving complex business decisions or processes. Identifies opportunities for collaboration across the Analytics organization to effectively deliver against priorities. Communicates with Senior managers and Analytics executives to understand business problems to be analyzed and deliver the appropriate summary and data required. Communicates with Business Leaders to identify, analyze, and propose solutions to a variety of business problems using data driven insights. May be required to interact more independently and own a project or business area end-end. Ability to use data tools and techniques to find and deliver data from various sources of record. Proven communications skills in describing complex data to inform strategic insights and decisions. Bachelors Degree in finance, math/statistics, or computer science.

Required Skills

•Bachelor's degree preferably in quantitative or qualitative discipline

•8+ years of analytics experience with ability to use SAS, SSMS, and Alteryx to find and deliver data from various databases and platforms.

•Excellent statistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insight.

•Comfortable and effective in tackling unstructured data challenges.

•Ability to build key relationships and influence thinking of internal stakeholders.

•Project management experience with ability to adapt to changing priorities and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

•Strong networking and influencing skills, able to work collaboratively across teams without formal management responsibility.

•Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical, non-technical and executive roles.

•Working experience in Autosys, Unix Shell Scripting, Hadoop, Teradata, SSMS, SAS, and Tableau.

•Proficiency in MS Excel and Power Point.

Desired Qualifications:

•Financial services experience.

•Advanced degree in business or statistics.
