Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and implement complex system engineering activities involving cross functional technical support, systems programming and data center capabilities.

  • Establish input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility, coordination of subsystems design, and integration of total system.

  • Participate in the resolution process for complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.

  • Evaluate and install software, hardware, and other types of support equipment into a workable network that supports a variety of functions.

  • Identify alternatives for optimizing computer resources.

  • Investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions. Collect information to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems.

  • Develop production ready software using web, cloud and distributed technologies including RHEL, IBM Websphere, Pega, Ping Identity, Dynatrace and CI/CD deployments.

  • Develop high availability strategies using Global Traffic Management, GeoDNS, Loadbalancers, Clustering technologies, SAN / NAS storage and Multiple Datacenters.

  • Design new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with Hazelcast Clustering, Elasticsearch and Kafka.

  • Utilize Bitbucket, Jenkins, Ansible and Artifactory for implementing build and deployment.

  • Write and maintain system design drawings and system specific detailed documentation.

  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related; and

  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.

  • Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Developing production ready software using web, cloud and distributed technologies including RHEL, IBM Websphere, Pega, Ping Identity, Dynatrace and CI/CD deployments;

  • Developing high availability strategies using Global Traffic Management, GeoDNS, Loadbalancers, Clustering technologies, SAN / NAS storage and Multiple Datacenters;
