The Opportunity

This position works out of our Plymouth, MN location in the EP division.

In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.

As the Project Administrative Coordinator , you'll be responsible for coordinating and leading various projects for Operations and for providing administrative support for the DVP of Operations. This role involves a balanced workload of administrative support and project coordination and leading.

To be successful as a Project Administrative Coordinator , you will need to be able to work on tight deadlines, be competent in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel, and have exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills. A bachelor's degree, project management certification, at least five (5) years of administrative support for executive level and at least three (3) years of project coordination is required for consideration.

What You’ll Work On

  • Providing strategic administrative support such as calendar management, travel arrangements and expense reporting.

  • Leading and coordinating strategic programs such as talent management reviews, reward and recognition programs, and employee giving campaigns for a large organization.

  • Communicating eloquently and timely with senior management and other levels of leadership.

  • Maintaining the highest degree of discretion due to the nature of the information and topics.

  • Developing, maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, and budgets.

  • Organizing, leading, and participating in core team and stakeholder meetings.

  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.

  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.

  • Undertaking project tasks as required.

  • Facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Project Management certification

  • Five (5) years experience supporting executives.

  • Three (3) years of experience in project coordination.

  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Competency in using computers and Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Knowledge of administrative procedures.

  • Ability to work on tight deadlines.

  • Requires initiative, strong organizational skills, a professional demeanor, positive outlook, reliability and strong work ethic.

The base pay for this position is $23.25 – $46.45 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
