The Hilton Portland Downtown is looking for its next Receiving Clerk to join their team! If you are someone that has a knack for attention to detail and enjoys hands-on tasks this is the perfect opportunity!

Find us in central downtown, less than one block from the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall and Pioneer Courthouse Square. Pioneer Place Mall, Portland Art Museum, Newmark Theatre, and several parks are within three blocks.

The ideal candidate for this role:

-Previous experience with use of machinery, like pallet jacks and hand trucks to transport packages while ensuring that all package and shipment information is recorded with precision.

-Talent to work proficiently and accomplish tasks in a timely manner.

-Good organization and communication skills.

What will I be doing?

As a Storeroom Clerk, you would be responsible for verifying the accuracy of and accepting all purchased products into the hotel to deliver an excellent guest experience and to maximize profitability. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Verify the accuracy and accept all purchased products into the hotel
  • Assist in the daily operation of the storeroom to include, but not limited to, receiving and placing products, reconciling received items to purchase orders to verify accuracy, rotating stock, conducting inventory and issuing and delivering items to departments
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local and company regulations regarding storage, safety and sanitation
