Job Description

The Events Principal is a strategic and creative leader responsible for designing, managing, and executing Prime Therapeutics’ internal and external events. This role requires a seasoned professional with experience in event planning, marketing, and brand integration to deliver impactful, innovative experiences that align with Prime’s business objectives and core messaging. The Events Principal ensures that all events reinforce the “Save. Simplify. Support.” messaging, strengthen Prime’s brand presence, and foster engagement with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive event strategy that aligns with Prime Therapeutics’ business goals, branding, and messaging

  • Plan, manage, and execute a portfolio of events, including client-facing experiences, industry conferences, and internal initiatives

  • Collaborate with senior leaders, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to define event objectives and success metrics

  • Oversee all aspects of event production, including venue selection, vendor management, logistics, and on-site coordination

  • Ensure event designs, themes, and branding deliver exceptional experiences and convey Prime’s purpose and values

  • Manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective, high-quality event delivery

  • Work closely with marketing and creative teams to develop compelling event content, including keynote speeches, presentations, and branded materialsLeverage gamification, technology, and innovative formats to enhance attendee engagement and knowledge sharing

  • Partner with Learning & Development to integrate training opportunities into events where applicable

  • Define and track event KPIs to measure success, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement

  • Provide post-event analysis, reports, and recommendations to stakeholders

  • Stay ahead of industry trends to implement new ideas and best practices in event management

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver seamless event execution

  • Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all events reflect Prime’s identity and strategic priorities

  • Build strong relationships with external partners, including event planners, vendors, and industry experts

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required

  • 8 years of work experience in related marketing roles, including B2B marketing, product marketing and/or communications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

  • Superior interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively facilitate meetings, resolve conflict, build consensus, establish rapport and collaborate effectively across departments, internally and externally, and at all levels within an organization

  • Strong relationship management with ability to gain leadership credibility across the organization

  • Demonstrated ability to drive forward company initiatives at senior management levels

  • High detail orientation with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and without compromising quality

  • Ability to understand business needs, translate these to others on team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the health insurance or Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) industry

  • Leadership/people management experience

  • Knowledge of gamification and engagement tools for event innovation

  • Passion for creating meaningful experiences that drive business impact

Minimum Physical Job Requirements

  • Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear

  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms

  • Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch

  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to a Manager, Director or Sr Director in the Marketing department

Potential pay for this position ranges from $108,000.00 - $184,000.00 based on experience and skills.
