Lockheed Martin Enterprise Compute Infrastructure As A Service Product Owner in Puerto Rico

Description: Become part of the Future of IT at Lockheed Martin as a Agile Product Owner for Enterprise Compute Infrastructure Products! This dynamic, fast-paced environment is embracing DevSecOps, Infrastructure As Code and Agile to enable our strategic goals. The Product Owner role will be instrumental to the success of accelerating how we develop and maintain secure compute infrastructure products at Lockheed Martin to meet the needs of every business area. This position resides within the Enterprise Digital and Business Transformation Organization. The Compute Product scope includes development and operations for the following enterprise infrastructure products: OS Imaging (Windows, RHEL), Server Patching, Virtualization, OS Content Management and Database (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc). These solutions are built and deployed to meet global needs and include both centralized core Data Center and Edge locations for on-premise and in AWS and Azure public clouds.

The Product Owner will partner with the other members of the Compute Product Team including the Product Architect, Product Orchestrator, Delivery Lead and Security Architect.

Product Owner responsibilities include:

• Represents the interests of the stakeholders, sponsors, and potential users. Conducts stakeholder meetings to understand business area requirements and obtain prioritization inputs.

• Ensures product decisions are in alignment with organizational strategy for automation, orchestration and self service

• Collaborates with the Portfolio Team to establish product vision and roadmap as well as identify new markets and customers. Updates the Product Roadmap for consumption by agile teams and stakeholders.

• Collaborates with the agile delivery teams to continually mature the backlog with a focus on reducing cycle times, increasing predictability and incorporating FinOps guidelines

• Ensures Features and User Stories are properly vetted, prepared, executed, and delivered

• Ensures that the ready backlog is maintained and that the Delivery Team is never starved of work

• Creates and maintains the Ready Backlog of Features to ensure they meet the Definition of Ready and have Acceptance Criteria that are in alignment with the Epic success criteria and desired outcomes

• Prioritizes the ready backlog of Features

• Support the Portfolio Product Manager in writing Epic success criteria and desired outcomes to meet the strategic vision and business outcomes

This position is full time telecommuting. Occasional travel (1-2 times a year) may be requested.

Basic Qualifications:

• Prior experience in an agile leadership role such as Manager, Product Owner, Product Analyst, Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer or Product Manager in the development of IT or Software Products

• Prior experience with DevOps, scripting, automation, orchestration tools or Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Prior experience with Customer or Stakeholder engagement

• Experience using agile management tool such as JIRA, VersionOne, Pivotal Tracker, etc

Desired Skills:

• Experience with vendors to influence and incorporate vendor roadmaps, understand vendor product offerings and mitigate/remediate vendor vulnerabilities and defects

• Experience in mitigating IT Tech Debt and retiring legacy products and services

• Demonstrated use of metrics to make data driven decisions

• Experience in creating or contributing to product roadmaps

• Experience conducting user interviews and/or customer surveys

• Familiarity with Service Now for ITSM

• Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure IT service development and maintenance

• Familiarity with private cloud on-premise IT service development and maintenance

• Experience working in a virtual environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $142,100 - $267,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $123,500 - $236,800 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
