Director, Small Business Product Management - North America
The Director, Small Business Product Development and Management will be part of the North American small business segment team which is responsible for advancing the Mastercard small business efforts throughout the United States and Canada. This individual will be responsible for the end to end process from overall product management to the go to market execution in order to identify, develop and bring to market solutions that meet the holistic needs of small businesses as well as our partners within the small business ecosystem. In this role there will be a focus on the key credit and debit product set as well as other potential solutions that drive our needs based, customer centric approach to overall product development including the focus on small business as consumers. In addition, the Director will play an instrumental role in educating internal and external constituencies on the Mastercard Small Business strategy and be a strong advocate and influencer to ensure the Small Business segment strategy is being applied consistently across Mastercard and to our clients and partners. This leader will work with the members of the North America Small Business Segment team and regionally and globally across Mastercard to deliver these holistic small business solutions for our client ecosystem using Mastercard Assets, Client Assets and Third Party Assets through partnerships built by our solution specialist. They will focus on an end to end solution lifecycle from development to sales support/partnership with account teams.
Responsibility for product build continuum including customer delivery collaboration and go to market approach to launch products/solutions
Manage the development of financial business cases, ROI and pricing of solutions to drive the analysis and commercialization for the owned processes and solutions
Manage cross-functional teams through all phases of an innovative product development process, and serve as a strategic liaison, facilitating ongoing communication and collaboration efforts
Partner with internal and external constituencies to identify, research, and analyze new products, services and capabilities; solicit input for concepts, enhancements and market intelligence
Focus on embedding optimization and lifecycle management in our overarching solution set.
Provide regular updates to senior management on activities and results
Provide consultative sales leadership, especially during complex and cross-departmental sales discussions and product launches through the combination of deep functional skills, small business acumen and a thorough understanding of Mastercard's assets, positioning the organization as the best solution partner for the customer
Work closely with marketing, loyalty, product architects, customer delivery, debit, credit and prepaid and designated sales teams to ensure alignment and partnership.

Ability to navigate within a large organization to design strategic solution roadmaps and align with global on regional product roadmaps
Experience developing solutions using a broad range of internal and external assets/partnerships
Product management background with business development experience as a strong add
Strong focus on the customer with an understanding of how to assess needs and drive to development of solutions to meet those needs
Expert level competencies in the following are required:
