BAE Systems Utilities Operator Trainee Wastewater in Radford, Virginia

Job Description

BAE Systems, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Utilities Operator Trainee for the Radford Army Ammunition Plant in Radford, VA. In this role, you will operate sludge presses, sanitary wastewater plant and a waste acid neutralization plant. All testing and tasks shall be performed in accordance with established operating procedures, safety/environmental policies and regulatory permits. Entry level position will lead to a role as a Wastewater Operator.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

High School Diploma or GED.

MUST have a Minimum Class II Wastewater License as recognized through the State of Virginia's DPOR.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Prefer Class II Wastewater License as recognized through the State of Virginia's DPOR.

Pay Information

This position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which will determine your wages.
