Job Description

The Oncology Marketing team is passionate about bringing our medicines to our customers around the world. We are currently recruiting for Director, U.S. Marketing – Marketing and Field Execution. The position will report to the Executive Director, Portfolio Market Strategy & Operations.

The Director of US Oncology Marketing and Field Execution will lead the organization in the execution of marketing strategies to sales enablement, partnering closely with Marketing and Field senior leadership. This position will require outstanding leadership in many areas including strategic direction, cross-functional collaboration, communications, problem-solving and continuous improvement.

This role will have the responsibility to deliver the business today, while simultaneously planning for future product launches. The individual will also lead marketing communications and launch meetings. This role will lead a team of individuals who are critical marketing liaisons between the Oncology marketing and sales teams. This role is for an individual who is intellectually curious, a critical thinker, and challenges the status quo with innovative, continuous best practices.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead execution of marketing strategies to sales enablement and drive strategic communications plans across Oncology

  • Align and prioritize marketing execution activities with key organizational priorities, goals and objectives to realize value of market opportunities

  • Develop marketing execution plans for new brand/indication launches that are seen as best practices such as sales campaign management and marketing communications

  • Establish, maintain and continuously improve scalable processes for marketing and field execution and communications

  • Deliver precision execution with marketing and in partnership with sales teams

  • Put forth informed points of view and proactively make recommendations for communications tactics and innovative approaches to achieve business goals

  • Represent “voice of the customer and field teams” with the extended brand teams, to help develop strategy and resources

  • Lead marketing teams for “single marketing voice” for national sales and marketing meetings

  • Partner with marketing teams and learning & development to develop role-specific sales engagement strategies, tactics, and training plans

  • Develop agendas and content for launch meetings and integrate digital tools and technology

  • Direct and coach a team that values our mission for patients, and is aligned with our culture of diversity & inclusion, trust, collaboration, innovation and appreciation

Education Minimum Requirements:

  • Required: BA/BS Degree

  • Preferred: MBA or other advanced degree

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of ten (10) years

  • Strong leadership, problem solving, teamwork, analytical, written/verbal communication, and presentation skills

  • Excellent collaboration skills, influencing without authority and working successfully with cross-functional teams

  • Ability to manage significant complexity and flexibility
