What you will do as a Regional Territory Sales Representative:
This position is responsible for meeting and growing sales volume for assigned accounts or territory. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining positive relationships and strong ties with all levels of management, both internally & externally, as well as partnering with account/territory management to handle customer requests. Additionally, this position is required to support tradeshows and customer visits.
How you Will Make a Difference:
Drive sales growth through identifying and maximizing whitespace opportunities with existing retail accounts.
Identify and secure sales through new retail accounts.
Act as primary contact for assigned accounts, providing day to day support and communication including order status, product information and issues, etc.
Provide accurate and timely sales forecast information to support appropriate operational and financial planning.
Coordinate and facilitate new business through internal processes and functions including marketing, merchandising, customer service and management. * *
Set up, manage and facilitate seasonal sales launches in conjunction with the operations calendar.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand potential spend and future opportunities while growing account volume. *
Travel to customer locations for seasonal line breaks and as needed.
Effectively manage expense budget.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills for Success:
Years of Related Professional Experience : 5 years of retail selling experience, apparel industry preferred
4 year degree or equivalent experience
Demonstrated success growing both new and existing accounts
Experience with Farm &Ranch and Sporting Goods.
Strong interpersonal skills; an articulate and grammatically correct communication style
Excellent PC skills including advanced knowledge of excel and Powerpoint
Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, and able to multitask in a fast paced environment
Strong negotiating skills
Strong ability to handle stressful situations
This is a remote based role but would prefer candidates to live in the territory* : Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Caroline, Tennessee, Mississippi, Kentucky, Virginia
