Description

Janssen Global Services, LLC is recruiting for a Director, Global Cell Therapy Commercial Operations to be based in Raritan, New Jersey.

The Director, Global Cell Therapy Commercial Operations will report directly to the Senior Director, Global Cell Therapy Commercial Operations and will be responsible for key priorities across the Janssen Cell Therapy business, including Global CARVYKTI Operations, enabling launches and operations across all Janssen regions and leading key global strategic cross-functional initiatives to enable a seamless end-to-end customer and patient experience.

Responsibilities of the Director, Global Cell Therapy Commercial Operations include:

  • Leading a cross-functional, cross regional team to identify process improvements, initiates improvement projects and delivers on an improved outcome. Where needed, ensures SOPs are created or updated. Ensures KPI and metrics are defined, tracked and shared with key stakeholders and leadership.

  • Facilitating experience sharing across regions and countries (operational playbook). Continues to evaluate GTM in countries and regions for efficiencies and scalability. Refines governance structure as needed for agile issue resolutions.

  • Leading and collaborating with global key cross-functional partners on priority initiatives that will create and implement a seamless end-to-end customer experience for CARVYKTI.

  • Advocating for customers and driving opportunities to streamline operations to optimize customer experience. Serves as a business partner for IT for ops process improvements. Brings regions together to ensure clear input into IT changes, follow through on execution and training.

  • Shares responsibility for operational crisis management, insight and report generation, leading and executing global commercial ops workshops. Ensures strategies, assets and tactical plans are developed and performed in close partnership with key internal partners. Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

  • Leading key joint strategic activities and coordinating with alliance partner for the commercial team.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive biotech, pharmaceutical or relevant experience is required.

  • Must have a proven track record of exceptional team & cross functional leadership.

  • Experience interacting with all levels of management, including executive management, is required.

  • Proven track record of operating in an ambiguous environment and penchant for working in an agile and collaborative fashion.

  • Demonstrated global mindset with ability to assimilate complex science and analytics quickly is required.

  • A demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, cross-geography, with a high-level managers and executives is required.

  • Excellent executive communication skills are required.

  • An ability to manage multiple demands and priorities on time, lead teams, gain alignment and driving decision making is required.

  • Willingness to travel up to 30% annually is required.

Preferred

  • Oncology experience is preferred.

  • Cell therapy experience is preferred.

  • Experience with R&D programs, supply chain, managing strategic alliances, and global medical strategy is preferred.

  • Experience with process improvement tools preferred

The base pay range for this position is $142,000 to $244,950. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
