As the IT Director, you will play a crucial role in driving our IT strategy and execution for the Office of Chief Medical Officer (OCMO) and leading transformational IT initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the healthcare industry and contribute to the development of life-saving treatments.
Responsibilities:
Drive IT strategy and execution for the Office of Chief Medical Officer (OCMO)
Lead transformational IT initiatives to modernize pharmacovigilance and workflow
Foster a culture of compliance and encourage a collaborative team environment that values productivity, customer satisfaction, and innovation in OCMO.
Align and prioritize business & IT strategies and co-shape demands with OCMO leaders
Build partnerships for technology evolution, considering digital health, data sciences, and genomic trends in healthcare
Implement transformational technologies to support Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in evaluating advanced technologies and automation for drug benefit risk management
Develop business-technology strategies to incorporate Pharmacovigilance - Transactional Systems, Automation, Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence for OCMO initiatives.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (Equivalent experience considered)
Minimum of 15 years of Information Technology application development work experience and leading matrix teams in large enterprises
Extensive experience in implementing advanced Medical Safety technologies and previous leadership in information and technology support within the healthcare industry
Familiarity with technology trends and their potential impact on the J&J system portfolio
Knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations and compliance requirements for medicinal products companies
Extensive knowledge and experience with modern technologies (Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation, Data Science, etc.)
20% domestic and international travel required
Salary
For US based candidates, the base pay range for this position is $200,600 USD to $271,400 USD.
Bonus
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
