The Manager, Global Strategic Marketing, will be responsible for crafting and implementing business growth strategies and key commercialization tactics for the $1.5 billion Synthetic Absorbable Sutures (SAS) portfolio and the J&J MedTech wound closure and healing digital strategy. This role supports commercial opportunities to advance brand growth, ensuring regional alignment with the strategy and execution of SAS business plans, and engagement in brand pipeline innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement platform segmentation, positioning, pricing strategies, evidence generation & claims, regional launch execution, VOC & insights to inform brand strategy and pipeline development, life cycle management, and business development strategies.

  • Engage with customers and KOLs to identify key insights and customer needs that inform brand development, commercial strategy, and pipeline development.

  • Support the commercial SAS portfolio strategy in partnership with Regional Marketing & Sales and key cross-functional partners (Professional Education, Commercial Education, Communications, etc.), and develop/disseminate key supporting collateral to drive brand strategy and growth.

  • Partner with R&D, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Sales, Regional Marketing, Finance, and key customers to craft and accelerate the brand strategy, identify unmet needs, evaluate options, and provide direction for global growth opportunities.

  • Achieve financial targets within specified budgets and timeframes.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant country and regional requirements, company regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree is required; a masters degree is preferred.

  • 5 years of progressive business experience is required.

  • 3 years of consumer or healthcare marketing and/or sales experience is required.

  • Medical Device marketing and/or sales experience is highly preferred.

  • Strong experience in digital product management, design, and program execution is strongly preferred.

  • Experience in product development, including needs assessment, portfolio management, new opportunity assessment, and product lifecycle management, is preferred.

  • Excellent cross-functional and management influencing skills and the ability to develop customer relationships are required.

  • Proven track record of working in a global organization is preferred.

  • Experience with supply chain, global brand management, and new product launch is preferred.

  • Proven experience in developing and using customer insights is preferred.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in building and implementing marketing strategy is preferred.

  • Demonstrated success in leading various teams across different functions is preferred.

  • Healthcare sales and sales management experience is preferred.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $99,000 - $170,200
