J&J Family of Companies MedTech TranSCend Finance Deployment Lead – Supply Chain in Raritan, New Jersey

At this time, we are recruiting for a MedTech TranSCend Finance Deployment Lead – Supply Chain, located in any J&J MD office in North America.

The successful candidate will be a part of the finance team supporting MT TranSCend Digital Transformation, a multi-year global business transformation initiative that will modernize our end-to-end Supply Chain digital capabilities by harmonizing our disparate ecosystem of global MD ERP systems, standardizing our core business processes and products, and enabling our integrated data strategy through a single SAP S/4 HANA instance.

This role will have overall responsibility for leading, driving and coordinating deployment on behalf of Finance, verifying all Finance functional teams, business and project are ready throughout each phase of the Program – at a global level across multiple Regional Deployments concurrently. It will act as the principal liaison to provide an E2E view for all of Finance and “join the dots” across process teams to verify there are limited disruptions to the timeline and business/SC

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define deployment strategy, methods, playbook, and tools across each Regional release deployment and align with Program team and all BU Finance & business partners

  • Creation of framework for Legacy System Clean-up in partnership with Data/Migration team including any Accounting Policy Changes/ implications

  • During design and build phase, coordinate functional readiness for all activities, drive business readiness, support end to end test scenario identification and ensure stage gate adherence.

  • Accountable for all elements of Testing across the Releases including scope, results, outputs incl defects while lead by Implementation CoE & other testing groups

  • Co-own the development of transition to stabilization planning with FTS, DBT Run-State & GS Teams

  • Define release deployment phases and business cutover plans, and align expectations/ planning with business

  • Monitor work management plan creation as relates to E2E scenarios

  • In conjunction with Business Adoption, lead the Change Management & Training strategy to support successful deployment incl any KT planning and execution

  • Drive completion of readiness and deployment tasks for function including Business Adoption

  • Manage the execution of dress rehearsal and the cutover plan for relevant deployment(s), mitigating cross workstream issues to verify that overall program cutover goals are achieved

  • Own Finance Hypercare metrics and proactive leadership in relevant hypercare forums / readouts

Qualifications

  • Ability to proactively lead, drive and coordinate concurrent & complex deployments and manage all aspects of the deployment up to end of hypercare

  • Ability to “join-the-dots” and understand and frame the “So What?” across all critical BUF / SCF stakeholders with strong internal customer focus.

  • Previously demonstrated hands-on project experience in developing and objectively assessing overall deployment readiness at each relevant stage-gate including the resolution of any risks / roadblocks and / or escalation as necessary

  • As the lead point of contact for Finance Stakeholders, (BUF / SC), excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence/collaborate to get to desired results

  • Independent and highly productive while capable of owning and leading projects

  • Deep knowledge of MedTech Commercial / Supply Chain Operations

  • Enthusiasm and passion to proactively promote standard methodologies in line with continuous improvement principals

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $146,000 to $251,850.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
