Position Overview

The Senior Finance Manager will set the necessary framework to ensure the successful value tracking and execution of our global transformation. They will work closely with other members of the Strategy and Transformation Operating Committee (TOC) as well as Regional, Platform and Network partners to measure success of the program. A strategic business mindset coupled with effective financial tracking is critical for success in the role. This is 2 year duration based role.

The Senior Finance Manager will work closely with a cross-platform team to deliver objectives in improving our competitiveness by elevating our profitability and further accelerating our growth. They will serve as the point of contact to assess how the organization is delivering against our transformation initiatives measuring against key KPI’s.

This position provides high visibility to senior leaders as well an opportunity to impact the execution on our most critical business transformation priorities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic, complex, and high-energy setting with frequent interactions with senior leaders. The candidate is able to coordinate and collaborate across the business in a fast-paced environment.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial guidance to the STOC, platforms, regions and the Network on all Transformation Initiatives. They will measure overall program NPV.

  • Develop and lead the value tracking and initiative analytics related to transformation across all Surgery Platforms. Scope would include both portfolio and Network actions to understand full business value case.

  • Lead the ongoing value updates highlighting risks, opportunities, and potential gaps to initial assessment. The Senior Manager will be work closely with business leaders to identify strategic mitigating actions to cover risks

  • Partner with key regional, external and functional leaders to establish robust analytics and governance. The Senior Finance Manager will serve as the finance DRI to stakeholders on any changes to business cases.

  • Support and drive initiatives related to transformation efforts on the end-to-end management of JJMT Surgery’s Gross Margin and overall profitability including Portfolio and Network optimization. Drive margin improvement over the course of the project.

  • Provide strategic guidance to Business Partners in assessing impact of initiatives against the business plan and suggest mitigating actions, if needed

  • Partner with FP&A Manager to consolidate an end-to-end financial model for NTS and margin improvements including Commercial metrics, stranded costs, Supply Chain metrics, and other cost efficiencies

  • Partner with FP&A Manager to assist in managing the transformation budget, including the accurate reporting of accounting items

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s Degree and/or CPA or CMA is preferred

  • 8+ years of professional experience as a Finance Business Partner, ideally in a global matrix environment

  • Experience in supporting high value strategic projects, providing insights and analytics

  • Proven history of collaboratively working with colleagues across functional areas to deliver results

  • Ability to manage multiple demands and priorities on time, gain alignment and drive decision making is required

  • Advanced knowledge in Financial Planning and Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost Accounting, Internal Controls and Worldwide Financial Procedures is required

  • Good verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills

  • Proven track record of driving and executing innovation projects

  • Focus on executing and delivering on commitments with high attention to detail

  • Problem-solving skills; tenacity to learn, analyze, and resolve complex situations

  • Capable to work through ambiguity

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%, including some weekend travel.

120,000-207,000

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
