The Senior Manager, GSM Specialty Strategy, Orthopedics – will be responsible for supporting and executing on Ethicon’s Wound Closure & Biosurgery global surgical specialty strategy by integrating strategic brands strategies and their commercialization tactics to enable successful realization of the Ethicon portfolio of products’ value proposition in the context of prioritized and emerging surgical specialties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to support development and execution of end-to-end strategy including market insights, specialty strategic plans and playbooks, global KOL engagement strategy, professional and commercial education support, clinical literature reviews, clinical ad boards and congresses, and clinical and economic studies as needed in support of strategy for emerging specialties.

  • Engage with customers and KOLs to identify key insights and customer needs that inform brand strategy and pipeline development; this engagement can be in lab, OR, or ad board setting.

  • Collaborate with GSM Brand and Strategy leadership across all Ethicon platforms including Wound Closure and Repair, Biosurgery, and Robotics, for strategic and execution deliverables.

  • Partner with Regional Marketing, Sales and Education teams in support of global implementation of specialty strategies and achievement of business plans.

  • Partner with R&D, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Regional Marketing & Sales and key customers to identify unmet needs; evaluate options; and provide direction for global growth opportunities as needed.

  • The successful candidate will have the responsibility to reach financial targets within specified budgets and timeframes.

  • Ensure applicable company compliance with all relevant country and regional requirements, company regulations, policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required, Master’s degree is preferred.

  • A minimum of 7 years progressive business experience is required.

  • A minimum of 3 years of healthcare marketing and or sales experience is required.

  • Excellent global cross-functional partner management and influence skills, and ability to develop global customer relationships are required.

  • Proven track record to navigate ambiguity and complexity to deliver strong business results is required.

  • Previous regional in line marketing experience, global strategic marketing, and/or sales experience is strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience developing and using customer insights, supporting competency building in regional field sales organizations, leading and driving KOL engagement strategy, and implementing marketing strategy are preferred.

  • Previous experience developing, aligning, communicating, and driving integrated strategy that uses specialty focus in support of growth of strategic brands is strongly preferred.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $118,000 - $203,550
