Johnson & Johnson MedTech is recruiting for a Senior Marketing Manager, Global Strategic Marketing, MONARCH, within our MedTech Surgery organization. The location for this position is Santa Clara, CA.

The MedTech Surgical organization is comprised of: Wound Closure & Healing and Biosurgery, Endo Mechanical and Energy, OTTAVA (Surgical Robotics), MONARCH (Flexible Robotics), and MedTech Digital.
The MONARCH Senior Marketing Manager reports to the MONARCH Head of Global Strategic Marketing. Major Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Act as the marketing lead for product development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance projects through the pipeline and craft comprehensive commercial strategies.
Lead the creation of critical business deliverables, including target product profiles, market segmentation, positioning, pricing strategies, evidence generation plans, messaging frameworks, promotional activities, customer engagement strategies, and communication plans.
Develop a deep understanding of the market landscape and competitive offerings by working closely with competitive intelligence and strategic insights teams.
Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Clinical, Medical, Labeling/Packaging, and Business Development, to ensure seamless project execution.
Partner with stakeholders across the organization to successfully launch robotic and navigation products.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
A Bachelor’s Degree is required for this role, with an MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred to provide a strong foundation in business acumen and strategic thinking.
A minimum of 8+ years of progressive business experience in roles that demonstrate increasing responsibility and expertise in relevant areas, such as marketing, strategy, or product development.
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and synthesize insights into actionable strategies.
Proven ability to develop, lead, and nurture strong customer relationships, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering long-term partnerships.
Critical thinking and problem-solving expertise with a demonstrated ability to achieve business results by influencing cross-functional teams and stakeholders without direct authority. A high degree of intellectual curiosity and learning agility, enabling swift adaptation to evolving business landscapes and new challenges.
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with a track record of presenting ideas clearly, persuasively, and effectively to diverse audiences.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Marketing experience in the medical device industry, with a strong preference for expertise in navigation and/or robotics technologies.
Comprehensive knowledge of lung cancer diagnosis and treatment, particularly in bronchoscopy, is highly desirable.
Demonstrated success in new product development, as well as in downstream marketing, brand management, and customer-facing roles.
Proven experience in launch excellence marketing, including planning, execution, and driving successful product launches.
Preferred experience in a product development environment, with the ability to define market landscapes, product solutions, and target users and translate customer needs and feedback into actionable insights for stakeholders, including engineering and marketing teams.
Other:
This position will be based out of Santa Clara, CA. and may require up to 30% travel (International or Domestic)
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $138,000 to $238,050
