Job Description

Responsibilities: Collaborate regularly with department managers and proactively identify future hiring needs for a given area. Attract and select candidates for mid-level and high-level jobs. Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work.” Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices. Create recruitment profiles for high-impact executive and senior executive roles; engage with hiring executives to clarify the scope of each role, develop a role profile, and create a candidate specification; create an executive search brief to attract high-quality candidates. Develop and maintain a senior executive candidate pipeline through personal networking, research, and a variety of talent attraction and engagement methods, processes, and tools. Plan and carry out workplace observations and assessments of professional and technical skills in line with predefined criteria, providing appropriate feedback to assessees and line managers. Carry out online research and telephone interviews and review career histories to validate applications for senior management and executive roles and to screen out those that do not meet key criteria. Contribute to stakeholder engagement by identifying stakeholders; by finding out their needs, issues, and concerns; and by reacting to these needs, issues, and concerns, arranging meetings and events and drafting supporting materials to promote understanding and commitment. Contribute to the creation of recruitment campaigns; identify the characteristics of key candidate target groups; propose channel and media selections and messaging content; design events; draft communications content and agency briefings. Contribute to the creation of assessment centers; tailor and validate preexisting assessment exercises; draft and validate new content as directed; prepare documentation; train assessors to engage candidates, record and interpret assessment observations, and provide appropriate feedback to line management. Develop and implement a relationship management plan for existing customer accounts to identify and build relationships with relevant decision-makers and influencers within the customer organization and to enable effective two-way flow of information and resolution of issues. Collect feedback from identified customers or customer segments to ensure their needs are met, providing themes, summary analyses, and recommendations for changes based on customer input. Contribute to the creation of future talent recruitment campaigns; propose campaign messaging based on analysis of values and aspirations of graduates/school leavers; make evidence-based proposals for channel and media selection (including career fairs); design events; draft communications content and agency briefings. Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving queries and issues and referring very complex or contentious issues to others. Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an in-depth understanding of technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
