Manpower is seeking experienced Electrical Coil Winders for long term positions with the Richmond location of multinational power management company.

What will You be Doing?

Winding standard 150kva units, including setting up and adjusting a coil winding machine, and soldering and brazing copper/aluminum.

Inspects product quality and installation to ensure conformance to production quality standards related to coil dimension, bus bar location, etc.

Interprets engineering drawings, electrical schematics and blueprints.

Keeps all work areas clean, organized and presentable.

Complies with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulations.

Must be willing to work flexible hours including over time.

What do you bring to the job?

2 years of experience in related field preferred

Soldering and brazing copper/aluminum fundamental understanding.

Minimum knowledge to wind a standard 150 kva unit.

Maintains a conscientious effort towards safety.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Ability to count, read and effectively communicate in writing and verbally.

Ability to lift 20 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Ability to sit, stand, kneel, reach and/or walk frequently.

High school diploma or GED
