Abbott Rapid Diagnostics (formerly Alere) is part of Abbott’s Diagnostics family of businesses, bringing together exceptional teams of experts and industry leading technologies to support diagnostic testing which provides important information for treatment and management of diseases and other conditions.
The Implementation Specialist plays a critical role in the success of our clients, partners and the Abbott Workplace Solutions business unit. The Implementation Specialist works directly with several internal teams including National Accounts, Sales, IT Support and external groups including clients, and lab partners. Their primary role is to create/ configure new client accounts and to maintain information throughout multiple systems, performing audits of systems and create/maintain panel information.
Collaborate with the Project Managers and the National Account Management team to construct and configure accounts as required
Maintain all client accounts throughout multiple user interfaces
Translate contracts and configure and update billing tables
Act as liaison between business and laboratories
Perform scheduled audits to ensure accuracy across multiple platforms
Monitor and resolve National Account billing discrepancies
Maintain MRO information within toxicology and eScreen systems
Provide maintenance for panel databases
Work in tandem with the Information Technology (operations support) department on system updates
Troubleshoot client needs as they occur
High level of multitasking and prioritizing of complex tasks
Additional projects may be assigned
High School Diploma of GED. Four-year degree from accredited college or university preferred but not required
Exceptional organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Experience with corporate culture along with an excellent customer service mentality
Ability to quickly learn and apply new information
Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook (essential). Salesforce, Intranet
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional time management and analytical skills
