Job Description

The Senior Product Implementation Manager leads complex strategic product integrations and assists with bringing new products to market, working in concert with senior leadership, business, IT and other project stakeholders to meet the overall project goals in terms of scope, quality, budget, issue/risk management and schedule. The role will not only drive effective planning and management of IT and business workstreams but also play a crucial role in implementing or developing new products and aligning our technology solutions with business goals. The Senior Product Implementation Manager will understand and contribute to the growth and maturity of Prime’s Product lifecycle while also advocating for the project management discipline and driving that rigor throughout the entire Prime organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support product implementations, working across or leading IT teams and multiple business units (e.g., sales, account management, finance, legal, and marketing) to ensure successful delivery and alignment with business goals

  • Ability to leverage the project management discipline and standards in accordance with the Prime Project Lifecycle methodology to support new Product Implementations. Complete all Project Management (PM) - related artifacts (i.e. work breakdown structures, integrated project plans, issue/risk logs, project financials, status reports, meeting minutes and change logs), including preparing and presenting materials for Executive Review

  • Lead products and projects through the entire lifecycle using multiple methodologies (i.e. release, Waterfall, Agile): Initiation, Planning, Execution and Closure, applying risk/issue management or change control in terms of scope, schedule, cost and quality

  • Provide leadership to discover, diagnose and address business and technical issues/risks to facilitate and help drive business and technical resources towards resolutions or mitigation plans to ensure adherence to project scope, schedule and budget

  • Promote a common understanding of project timelines, milestones, critical path and financials in order to align project stakeholders and team members by providing reporting to stakeholders and project leadership per PM Practice standards

  • Interface with all areas impacted by the project including governance, business and IT leadership stakeholders, distributors, vendors and clients, ensuring all business and technology objectives are successfully delivered

  • Serve as a project management domain mentor to Project Managers and Associate Project Managers and support the PM Practice development and continuous improvement efforts

  • Ability to respond to ambiguity and dynamically adopt practices to account for uncertainties that are commonly apart of migrating or launching new products.

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS Diploma or GED is required

  • 5 years of work experience in project management across large, cross-functional projects

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong organizational change management skills, flexibility and collaborative spirit with proven conflict resolution and arbitration experience

  • Proven ability to lead, counsel, influence and find win-win compromise solutions and motivate diverse project teams to achieve stated results through the interpretation of facts, practices and policies

  • Ability to independently drive decisions and think creatively; demonstrated effectiveness at conflict management and consensus building on organizational changes and implementations

  • Ability to manage meetings with Senior/Executive leadership by facilitating, leading and driving discussions

  • Team player, comfortable with fast-paced, changing environment and ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMI Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)

  • Agile Certified Practitioner

  • Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or healthcare industry experience

  • Knowledge of multiple software development methodologies

  • 2 years of program management experience

  • 7 years of work experience in IT project management across large, cross-functional projects

Minimum Physical Job Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call, and shifts outside of Prime’s core business hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

  • Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear

  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms

  • Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch

  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Reporting Structure

  • Report to Implementation Owner

Potential pay for this position ranges from $94,700.00 - $151,300.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
