About this job
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Windows Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with fellow associates to build out or maintain server infrastructure, perform routine windows server administrative tasks, develop self-service capabilities, and automate solutions for our internal customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Build, maintain and support Windows based servers hosted on-premise and in cloud environments
Domain Controller, Active Directory & IIS Administration
Develop new and maintain existing automation utilizing tools and languages such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell and Python.
Consult with internal customers to continuously evolve our platform, creating the best customer experience and support possible.
Demonstrate expert comprehension of platform capabilities and apply this knowledge to enhance application development success.
Adopt the role of a technical mentor for our team of engineers, aiding them in multiple business areas.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or substantial equivalent experience.
5 or more years of work experience in related technology roles
At least 3 years of experience working with, maintaining, and building infrastructure both on-prem and within cloud platforms - Azure is preferred.
A minimum of 2 years scripting or coding experience with one or more languages.
Private Cloud Specific Qualifications:
Deep expertise in on-premise and cloud infrastructure, Windows server administration, Active Directory, networking, storage, and virtualization.
Extensive knowledge of Ansible, Azure DevOps, Docker, Git, Terraform, VMWare, Nutanix, and Automation Platforms such as Ansible Tower or AWX.
Demonstrated proficiency in building, deploying, and maintaining resilient on-prem and cloud architectures.
Proven experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines - Using tools such as Team City or Azure DevOps is a plus.
Strong communication, problem-solving, diagnostic skills, and high attention to detail.
An inherent drive for eliminating repetitive manual processes using automation.
Knowledge in Microsoft MSMQ, Veeam Backup & Protection, NetBox, Service Now, or Kubernetes is a plus.

Richmond, VA Technology Innovation Center
Dallas, TX Technology Hub
