Job Description

• Sets up standard test apparatus and conducts operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability of cells/batteries, prototypes, or production models.

• Troubleshoots malfunctions and performs repairs by adjusting, calibrating, aligning or modifying test apparatuses, circuitry and components using hand and power tools.

• Assembles and/or modifies wires, insulation and components using hand and power tools. Installs assemblies and hardware into housing.

• Monitors and controls on-going test projects by completing various physical and electrical measurements.

• Understands basic electrical processes and has experience using various electrical tools, including but not limited to soldering iron and resistance welding.

• Actively partners with a test engineer to monitor and control all tests, communicating changes in performance on a periodic basis, and maintaining test data integrity from inception to completion.

• Initiates requisitions and replenishes test equipment parts and materials required for the project.

• Issues complete or partial kits to meet delivery requirements of on-going tasks/projects.

• Maintains the integrity of all requisite test data to support various test engineering projects/tasks.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Experience with operating basic test equipment.

• Ability to follow verbal and written directions/procedures.

• Experience with various technical hand and power tools.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Experience with testing/handling electrochemical cells/batteries.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $38610 - $65670

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
