Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Staff Level Test Data Analysis Lead Engineer. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.
What You'll Get To Do:
The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Space System Test Team. The selected candidate will work in a dynamic people-focused environment where he/she will interact with users, customers and other engineers.
The Data Analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
Experience working with data generated from automated SW test Systems.
•Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
•Develop and implement data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
•Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
•Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
•Work with management to prioritize test data analysis and use for design improvements
•Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
•14 Years with Bachelors; 12 Years with Masters, 9 with a Phd,or 18 years of experience in lieu of a degree
• US Citizen and possess DOD Active Secret clearance
•Proven working experience as a data analyst or Test Instrumentation data analyst
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
•Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
•Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc...)
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
•Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
•Active Top Secret Clearance
•Experience in ICBMs or Aerospace programs
•Experience with NX and Teamcenter
•Experience with DOORS requirements management tool
•MBSE and CAMEO experience
