The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for supporting the hotel’s Food & Beverage Division which includes: staff training, inter-department communications, project management, and scheduling. The Food & Beverage Manager should possess strong communication skills and demonstrate leadership abilities. In addition to assisting with the day-to-day needs within Food & Beverage Operations, this position will respond quickly to guest requests and/or complaints in a friendly manner and ensure that appropriate action is taken to guarantee and drive guest satisfaction. Additionally, this position will play a role in supporting all operational areas to respond to business needs, including the restaurant and banquets. The Food & Beverage Manager will directly report to the hotel's Director of Operations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

· Coach and counsel hotel colleagues to reflect Hyatt Service Standards and Procedures

· Maintain excellent communication within the Food & Beverage Division and other hotel departments

· Analyze, investigate, and resolve guest complaints

· Create expectations, lead people, manage processes, and hold people accountable for the agreed-upon activities and timetables

· Ensure proper staffing levels for customer service goals and support with coverage of departments within Food & Beverage

This position has a salary range from $64,484-$87,000.

Qualifications:

· Service-oriented style with professional presentation skills

· At least 2 years of progressive management experience within the F&B Divisions of a hotel

· Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service, and ability to improve the bottom line

· Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds

· Possess a demonstrated ability to prioritize and see projects and tasks through to completion

· Clear concise written and verbal communication skills

· Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills

· Candidates should be open-minded, having a desire to experiment and test new ideas to challenge the status quo

· Must be able to support Hyatt’s purpose by identifying opportunities to display authentic human care to guests and colleagues so they can be their best
