Cardinal Health Advisor, Treasury - FP&A in Saint Paul, Minnesota
Ideal candidate will be based in Ohio. Also open to remote candidates in the Midwest outside of Ohio. Expectation would be to come into the Dublin, OH office for moments that matter, usually once a quarter.
What Treasury contributes to Cardinal Health
Treasury is responsible for developing, recommending, and executing financial policy. It sets appropriate capital structure, always ensuring that the company has the liquidity to meet its obligations and fund strategic initiatives. Treasury also identifies and manages risks that could erode financial strength. Treasury's key areas of focus include corporate finance, capital markets, financial risk, international treasury, and treasury operations.
Responsibilities
Demonstrates the knowledge and ability to apply corporate finance theory in the development of capital structure and financial policy recommendations
Demonstrates analytical, strategic, presentation creation, and spreadsheet modeling capabilities
Develop the annual capital plan, capital deployment strategy and dividend recommendation
Supports relationships with credit rating agencies
Forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting of Cardinal Health’s consolidated balance sheet, operating cash flows, total shareholder return, interest expense, other income, capital expenditures, and share count.
Supports the monthly capital committee process
Performs capital structure analyses and recommendations as well as discount rate assessments for potential acquisitions
Supporting CAH’s growing global footprint, including cash and liquidity management, cash forecasting, monthly reporting, and ongoing analytics
Ensuring adequate liquidity for international legal entities and businesses and identifying the most efficient means of funding liquidity requirements
May provide bank guarantee support and reporting while proactively managing credit lines. May manage intercompany loans to aid in ensuring adequate liquidity for entities
Assists with the creation of best practices and SOX compliant processes for all current and future Treasury operations
Executes hedging transactions accurately and interprets data to execute investment, financing and hedging strategies
Proactively managing interactions with banking partners
Prior experience with a treasury management system (Kyriba) helpful
Able to complete work independently
Provide timely and in-depth analysis on complex tasks and projects
Develop knowledge of market trends and dynamics
Work on various special projects on an “as needed” basis
Qualifications
1+ years of relevant experience in Treasury, Finance, or banking industry, preferred
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, or finance preferred, or equivalent work experience, preferred
Related professional designation or MBA, preferred
Must have excellent analytical and organizational skills and demonstrate great attention to detail
Successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and well-developed written, verbal and presentation skills
Comfort working simultaneously on a broad range of projects
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, V-Lookup, etc.) and Microsoft Office PowerPoint

Anticipated salary range: $79,700- $113,800
