Sr. Software Engineer - Medical Pharmacy Products - Remote

Job Description

We have several openings for Sr. Software Engineers. You will help with developing, testing, deploying, enhancing and maintaining technology solutions for existing Medical Pharmacy products and application components

The IT Software Engineer is part of a scrum team responsible for developing, testing, deploying, enhancing and maintaining technology solutions for existing Medical Pharmacy products and application components. This position collaborates cross-functionally with team members to achieve innovative, business-driven technology solutions. You will help drive new client implementations and provide ongoing client support with a focus on leveraging some of the following skills: SQL database within a configurable solution and a tech stack that includes .NET Framework/.NET Core, VB.NET, C#, MS SQL/MySQL, AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda), GitHub, Postman/Insomnia and Angular.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain technology solutions and ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements; assist with solution design

• Analyze, design and develop tests and test-automation suites

• Use test driven development in an agile environment

• Leverage and contribute components for the continuous integration and continuous deployment pipeline for technology solutions

• Collaborate cross-functionally with team members to achieve innovative, business-results driven technology solutions

• Consistently apply best practices and drive for continuous improvement

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies

• Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

• 5 years of experience with application development or package software implementation

• Ability to manage work direction and lead, influence, mentor, and provide feedback to others within team

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in environment with regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI, etc.)

• Previous experience working an in Agile/Product Delivery model

• Previous experience in PBM / health care industry

• Understanding of security implications of domain

• Comfortable leading and mentoring others

Physical Demands

• Ability to travel up to 5% of the time

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and shifts outside of Prime's core business hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. as needed for technical support and/or project needs

• Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear

• Frequently required to reach with hands and arms

• Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch

• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Potential pay for this position ranges from $94,000.00 - $160,000.00 based on experience and skills.
