Job Description
Responsibilities:
Management and development of Sourcing and Supplier Relationship strategies for Non-IT related categories such as Travel, Professional Services, Corporate Realty, Marketing, Facilities and Print; as well as IT-related categories such as Hardware, Software.
Leads, assigns and evaluates the work of others to include performance management. Further adhering to the culture of the firm, coaches and mentors subordinates, identifies training needs and recommends development programs
Leads and develops a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
Identifies, develops, and manages strategic business relationships gaining a comprehensive understanding of business requirements by working closely with stakeholders and team members to develop strategies/plans through execution.
Facilitates joint meetings with internal business clients to assist in Procurement forecasting, demand management, requirements development, supplier selection, and identification of possible purchasing channels and sources
Promotes procurement best practices across the organization to enhance value delivery
Leads cross-functional teams through gathering requirements, category strategy development, strategic sourcing, and supplier negotiation, contracting and onboarding processes.
Manages governance and control programs with respect to Non-IT related categories to ensure business supply continuity, protect company assets, and comply with corporate and regulatory policies and contractual compliance
Conducts periodic performance reviews with management of key suppliers and business stakeholders across the firm based on an understanding of the Total Cost of Ownership over the lifecycle of both products and services
Develops and executes communication plans with the Business Units and functional areas to drive adoption of P2P procedures and system utilization for managed categories.
Identifies opportunities for Catalog and Punch-out development, adoption, and management across categories
Ensures compliance to Raymond James and Procurement policies, procedures, and processes
Maintains appropriate technical and industry knowledge for Procurement.
Analyze market trends, industry benchmarks, and regulatory changes to optimize procurement decisions
Performs all other duties as assigned
Knowledge of:
Strategic Sourcing and Strategies
Sourcing, negotiation, and contracting best practices
Procurement processes, policies, governance, and compliance mechanisms within the Financial Services regulated framework
End to end P2P and procurement processes, controls, and technologies, including eSourcing tools
Change management
Project Management methodology
Financial markets, their required products and services, and corresponding regulations
Leadership best practices to include coaching and performance management

Education
Bachelor’s: Business Administration
Work Experience
General Experience – 10 to 15 years
Certifications
Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) - Institute for Supply Management (ISM)
