Job Description

Responsibilities: Work within established research systems to deliver prescribed outcomes for a designated part of an economic research program. Conduct research and select relevant information to enable analysis of key themes and trends using primary data sources and business intelligence tools. Prepare and coordinate the completion of various data and analytics reports. Contribute information to business cases for research funding to quantify current costs, justify project investment, and identify the return on investment. Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving queries and issues and referring very complex or contentious issues to others. Explore and develop a basic understanding of external developments or emerging issues and contribute to the evaluation of their potential impact on, or usefulness to, the organization. Help others get the most out of knowledge management systems by offering support and advice. Build effective working relationships within the internal client organization, delivering high-quality professional services with guidance from senior colleagues. Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
