What You Will Achieve

The Pfizer Digital Client Partner will be accountable for partnering with BioMedicine Design (BMD), Medicine Design (MD) and Anti-Infectives Research Unit (AI-RU) colleagues in Worldwide Research, Development & Medical (WRDM) on all digital matters, such as laboratory technologies, wearables, data, analytics, insights, enterprise systems, customer experience, etc. The individual will operate as the liaison between the WRDM Business Lines (BMD, MD and AI-RU) and Pfizer Digital. The colleague in this role will require a broad understanding of the business, the strategic direction and related business needs which will further assist them in identifying and delivering new digital capabilities and Products.

Your technical and business skills will help you represent a major Pfizer business area in all information technology activities. Your leadership skills will help provide a strategic or tactical direction and help plan the resolutions to information technology issues. You will participate in management and development of technology products and service standards which impact the business area.

Your leadership skills and innovative ideas with drive the growth of the Information & Business technology team at Pfizer. As an advisor and an expert, you will be able to build and leverage constructive relationships across the organization to achieve your division's goals and objectives. You will be entrusted with developing Pfizer's strategies for a portfolio of products and projects.

How You Will Achieve It

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Point of contact for all digital matters.

  • Be a trusted digital consultant to business.

  • Advise on all aspects of digital and technology topics and trends, opportunities and internal Pfizer Digital capabilities.

  • Lead the digital strategy, priorities and business case creation with sponsors to achieve key business priorities.

  • Help shape all digital requests to ensure high value and strategic alignment.

  • Partner with Business Lines and Digital stakeholders to manage successful execution of the digital strategy including solution adoption, scaling and business case achievement

  • Be proactive thought leaders partnering to drive the innovative use of digital to create value for our patients, all customers and the business.

  • Elicit and document clear business requirements.

Breadth and Depth of Knowledge

  • Is knowledgeable about the principles, concepts, and theories in drug discovery and drug design

  • Develops strategies for products and/or projects in drug discovery and design

  • Uses knowledge of industry, customer requirements and general business environment to adapt and implement strategic actions for the business units

  • Exhibits a high level of business knowledge and understanding of the external marketplace and anticipates customer requirements.

  • Actively shares knowledge with multiple functions in Digital and WRDM through existing knowledge sharing processes/systems

  • Contributes to the development of organizational knowledge management processes/systems

  • Develops and leverages resources to implement innovative ideas/processes/ products across therapeutic areas

  • Lead development of Digital POV across MD, BMD and AI-RU

  • Articulates business priorities that support the direction and strategy for BMD, MD and AI-RU and aligns digital projects to address areas of priority

  • Identify and operationalize capabilities and products across WRDM and enterprise

  • Recommends courses of action to management that impact units within the global business unit

  • Motivates indirect reports and delivers results for global business unit

Communication

  • Leverages a variety of communication tools and techniques to help colleagues understand how their work aligns to business priorities

  • Maintains an open communication environment to ensure the knowledge and expertise of Digital and WRDM resources are leveraged

Influencing Others

  • Informs senior management of decisions that have an impact on business direction within global business units

  • Partners with global business unit leadership to accomplish global business unit objectives.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in digital, life sciences or related field

  • 10+ years ' experience within Pfizer or pharma industry experience delivering innovations in Digital solutions

  • Proven track record of establishing strong partnerships with senior stakeholders as well as delivering innovative technical solutions

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

  • Strong client engagement, relationship management and program management skills

  • Financial acumen in digital delivery

  • Ability to influence and work with cross functional teams to deliver complex projects

  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience and/or background in life sciences, information management

  • Master's degree in relevant field

  • Proven ability to manage and drive large transformation programs and orchestration of digital delivery

  • Proven ability to manage financial goals, both in own area, and in support of a larger entity

  • Deep expertise on marketing practices, processes and platforms and in particular digital marketing platforms and best practices

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $144,900.00 to $241,500.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Salary range does not apply to the Tampa, FL location.

Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and/or eligibility.
