Position Summary

Finxact, a Fiserv Company (Finxact) is a leading new entrant in the Fintech space. We are looking for an innovative and passionate Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. As a ‪Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in design and development of our Kubernetes platforms, deployment pipelines, and cloud application architectures which enable our suite of cloud-native services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide a leadership role in defining, planning, executing, technology initiatives to enable our customers’ success

• Experience in designing and implementing cloud-native Software as a Service solutions

• Leverage cloud automation technologies including Gitlab, Terraform, and Helm to deploy to containerized applications to Kubernetes

• Participate in the evolution of our cloud environments, applications, and tools, continually improving the technology, processes, and procedures

• Evangelize scalable operational practices and play an active role automating and enforcing the same.

• Establish the next generation of cloud-native technologies

Education and Experience Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience

• 5+ years managing configuration, build and deployments for enterprise software solutions

• Exceptional knowledge of Kubernetes

• Experience working on cloud-based infrastructure e.g AWS, GCP, Azure;

• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation);

• Excellent knowledge of Linux technologies

• Experience with containerized systems and container orchestration

• Experience automating cloud platform configuration, build and deployments

• Strong understanding of network fundamentals

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices

• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

• Ability to understand critical issues and bring appropriate resolution to complex issues

• High degree of professionalism and self-motivation

Location/Travel

• Remote (telecommute) position within the contiguous United States.

• Minimal travel (<5%) for occasional team meetings.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work may vary but generally Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position may require long hours and weekend work.
