Job Description

The Product Value Director is accountable for coaching the business on intake, evaluation, and compliance of new, enhanced, and existing products. This role will be the liaison with the business on maintaining processes, documentation, governance, and value of the overall product portfolio. This position supports a consistent and repeatable product governance methodology and supports product and strategy initiatives across Prime.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with cross functional business leaders, product owners and subject matter experts to advance product enhancements, initiate buy vs build scenarios, and assistance with business case needs

  • Report on the health and timing of the existing solutions, products, features and assist with overall prioritization of efforts against multiple internal and external strategies; suggest path forward

  • Create and maintain actionable views of broad swaths of value such as condition management, network solutions, and medical pharmacy solutions

  • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of product processes, templates, and deliverable documentation; collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and maintain product value reporting

  • Comply and coach on governance processes and best practices such as go-to-market deliverables are followed per Product Council standards

  • Manage quarterly and bi-annual product assessment meetings in conjunction with applicable Product Owners; prepare and present on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and overall product value / health for each product within the business

  • Maintain in-depth industry and competitive insights to proactively support new product development opportunities in alignment with changing market needs, and identify possible enhancements

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required

  • 7 years of work experience in product development, project management, marketing, operations and/or client management, to include 3 years directly developing and implementing new products and services within a Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) or other managed care organization

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively facilitate meetings, resolve conflict, build consensus, establish rapport and collaborate effectively across departments, internally and externally, and at all levels within an

  • Highly organized with attention to detail

  • Skilled and knowledgeable in product and project life cycles and methodologies, continuous quality improvement, and change management

  • Organization and prioritization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to simultaneously lead multiple, projects and strategies, under pressure and strict timeframes

  • Proven critical thinking and analysis skills with the ability to translate enterprise priorities, client requests, market insights and business capabilities into new and compelling products and services

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma experience

Minimum Physical Qualifications:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must be able to “move or traverse”

  • Must be able to constantly operate a computer and/or other office productivity equipment.

  • Must be able to hear and constantly communicate information and ideas. Must be able to exchange accurate information.

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of time.

Potential pay for this position ranges from $108,000.00 - $184,000.00 based on experience and skills.
