The Event Sales Manageris responsible forselling and servicing local catering events. Primary sales efforts are in Banquet Food and Beverage and includes menu planning, agenda setting and hotel meeting services. Duties also include contract review andfacilitatingcommunication before, during and post event with pertinent hotel staff to ensurea high levelof service. The Event Sales Manager also hosts hotel site inspections,maintainsstrong customer relationships,participatesand may lead event meetings and other staff meetings, andworksas a team member with the sales and events staff. The manager also works closely with an assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 yearsprevioushotel experience

  • Proficient in general computer knowledge

  • Relationship building and excellent customer relations

  • Communication,presentationand organization skills of utmost importance
