Hyatt Hotel Area Executive Analyst in SAN ANTONIO, Texas

This position supports & assists the Area Vice President & General Manager in analytical reporting for Grand Hyatt & Hyatt Regency San Antonio. An Executive Analyst manages the reporting of revenues, labor and records growth efforts, while ensuring the hotel is competitively positioned within the local marketplace. The responsibilities of the Executive analyst are to maximize productivity of the hotel, enhance yielding management of the hotel’s function space and assist the AVP/General Manager with miscellaneous projects as it pertains to the property or the hotels in the region. The Executive Analyst is to ensure reporting is accurate, thorough, effective and updated in a timely manner. Any variances within the various reports will be reviewed, analyzed and explained.
The Executive Analyst represents the Area Vice President and General Manager in all community obligations within the city of San Antonio. The Executive Analyst also maintains all records, leases & relationships with retail tenants within the two hotel properties.
Position Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
Productivity
Review Schedules of all departments within both hotels
Double check time-cards to ensure proper scheduled hours are being fulfilled
Review timecards weekly, review any discrepancies or opportunities with Operations team
Ensure each department is utilizing benefit hours in a timely manner, including vacation days & comp days
Be in communication with leaders of the hotel regarding staffing levels, hiring, and open positions
Attend daily Standup and Weekly Operations meeting to understand the business levels of the hotel
Contribute to monthly Asset Report & Asset Call with our Regional Analyst
Finance
Run Daily Report, to include manual food & beverage receipts
Ensure journal entry for all shared managers and associates is accurate & allocated correctly
Keep track of Recovery Fee collections
Review all KPI measurements
Submit Expense AVP Expense Reports
Retail leases – be in communication with, and ensure all conversations, updates, monthly rent and contact information is being accurately recorded
Ensure all “trade agreements” are being tracked and communicated accurately (i.e. Ruth’s Chris annual credit)
OTHER
Act as a liaison for the Executive Offices to the rest of the hotel (VIP Cards, reservations etc.)
Keep track of and fulfill donation requests
Maintain calendar and communication for LC & ALC
Assist in any projects or communication for hotels in the region
Ensure all Retail Tenants are communicated with and leases are up to date
Maintain relationships and communicate with all City Leaders and Strategic Partners

Qualifications:
4 years hotel operations experience
Intermediate Microsoft Office and computer skills
Strong analytical capabilities
Refined written and verbal communication skills
Must be organized, detail oriented, and work well in a fast paced environment
