Preparation of all pastry products as trained in accordance to Pastry shop standards; assists higher level bakers; and other duties as assigned by Chef. This is fast paced position that requires good communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a commercial baking/ pastry operation preferred

• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and tools preferred

• Highly responsible and reliable

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays

• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight

• Must possess center of plate dessert creation and presentation skills.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
