The Opportunity

This position works out of our Santa Clara location in the Structural heart division.

Structural Heart Business Mission: Why We Exist

Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life by designing and providing device and management solutions for treating structural heart disease.

As the Production and Training Coordinator, you’ll beresponsible for organizing, developing, and managing employee training within a company, including identifying training needs, scheduling sessions, coordinating with trainers, and evaluating the effectiveness of training to ensure employees acquire necessary skills and meet compliance standards; essentially acting as the central point for all employee training initiatives. The production and Training Coordinator will also ensure smooth operations by coordinating tasks and ensuring smooth workflow between engineer, technicians, and production.

What You’ll Work On

  • Identify training needs for new and existing employees by collaborating with departments and management to pinpoint skill gaps and competency issues.

  • Design and develop training programs, including course materials, learning objectives, and assessments, often in collaboration with subject matter experts.

  • Schedule and manage training sessions, including logistics

  • Utilize various training delivery methods like classroom instruction, online learning, and on-the-job training.

  • Maintain accurate training records for employees, including completion dates and course details.

  • Update training/certification records in LMS.

  • Coordinates operational tasks and drives to completion.

  • Ensure smooth operators by coordinated engineering and production tasks

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a Technical filed or relevant work experience and knowledge. High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Clear and concise communication with both trainers and trainees, including written and verbal presentations.

  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute training within project timeline.

  • Flexibility to adjust training plan based on changing needs and feedback.

  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training technology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA or BS in Training, Education, Business, or related field

The base pay for this position is $27.05 – $54.05 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
