Position Overview

The Sales Automation Analyst is responsible for assessing the effectiveness of software applications to ensure optimum efficiency and ease of use for the Shockwave Sales Team. This individual will work collaboratively with the sales team to understand their needs, provide user requirements to the IT teams and assist throughout the design, development, testing, and implementation phase of each enhancement. This person will also collaborate with Commercial Operations, Finance, Inventory, and other cross-functional teams to identify and execute process improvements and automation projects to support data integrity, transparency, and efficiency across the organization. This role supports domestic and international teams.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assist as the gatekeeper of sales automation requests from various stakeholders by assessing the need and impact to the business and/or sales team as well as making recommendations based on existing functionality

  • Analyze use and impact of sales automation enhancements and make recommendations on prioritization of projects/enhancements based on business needs

  • Research sales automation methods and best practices to increase sales team efficiency and socialize those concepts to stakeholders

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand user requirements and serve as liaison between the business and IT teams to create clear direction for execution of enhancements/projects

  • Create User Acceptance Testing (UAT) requirements for system enhancements and execute testing to meet project deadlines

  • Capture feedback from the sales team regarding automation and process needs and prioritize these needs into future development and delivery

  • Partner with Sales Automation Training to assist in creation of training content delivered to the sales team

  • Support the sales team with questions and bug/fix requests as needed

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business/technical field

  • 3+ years of applicable experience in Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, Sales Automation, or related disciplines

  • 2+ years of applicable experience with Salesforce.com or other sales automation systems

  • Experience in medical device or other life sciences industry is a plus

  • Strong logical and analytical skills

  • Skilled at gathering information from and communicating effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Excellent communication skills; written, verbal, and visual

  • Minimum of a Working knowledge of Salesforce.com or other sales automation systems

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills and a strong attention to detail

  • Ability to travel up to 20%

The anticipated salary range for this position is $100,000 - $172,000

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year

  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$89,000 to $142,600
