Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Modern Data Stack Data Engineer with specialized expertise in the domains of Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Finance. This role is critical in architecting and managing data solutions that support and enhance our core business operations. Your deep understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications and your ability to design semantic layers will be key to transforming raw data into strategic business insights.
Essential Job Functions
Domain-Specific Data Engineering : Develop and manage data pipelines specifically tailored for Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Finance data using technologies like Snowflake, Fivetran, Coalesce and Airflow
Semantic Layer Design : Design and implement a semantic layer to improve data accessibility and usability across business units, ensuring that data is modeled in a way that aligns with business processes and needs.
Data Integration from Oracle Fusion Cloud: Efficiently extract and load data from Oracle Fusion Cloud, with a focus on leveraging BI Publisher and BICC PVOs for comprehensive data capture from Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing modules.
Advanced Data Transformation : Utilize SQL and data transformation tools like Coalesce to perform complex data transformations within Snowflake, ensuring data is clean, efficient, and ready for analysis.
Collaboration with Business Units : Work closely with stakeholders in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Finance to understand their data needs and deliver precise data models and dashboards.
Data Quality and Accuracy: Implement robust data quality checks and monitoring with tools like Monte Carlo to ensure high data integrity and reliability.
Performance Optimization: Regularly evaluate and optimize data pipelines for enhanced performance and scalability.
Visualization and Business Intelligence: Create and maintain advanced visualizations and dashboards in Power BI, translating data into actionable business insights.
Requirements
• Professional Experience: At least 15 years in data engineering with significant exposure to Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Finance functions.
• Functional Domain Experience: Be able to understand business processes and discuss solutions with process experts in Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain and Finance is a must for this position.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Snowflake, Coalesce, Python, and SQL. Experience with Fivetran, Airflow, and Azure Data Factory is highly preferred.
• Oracle Fusion Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud, especially BICC PVOs and BI Publisher, for effective data extraction and reporting.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with a proven record of solving complex data problems.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Leadership Qualities: Demonstrated project management and leadership skills, with a strategic vision to align data initiatives with business goals.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related fields.
Additional Information:
The anticipated base pay for this position is $138,000-$238,050 annually.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
