Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Manager, for Endpoint Protection (Cyber Security) within the Information Security and Risk Management (ISRM) organization to be located in Raritan, NJ. Remote work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis and if approved by the Company.

The Manager Endpoint Protection will define strategies/solutions to increase the protection of Johnson & Johnson resources, automate processes, and integrate activities related to endpoint protection tools and metrics. In addition, create the appropriate documentation and support articles related to the activities following Johnson & Johnson standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technology strategy for security endpoint solutions.

  • Evaluate and engineer solutions to be used for enterprise scale.

  • Define solutions for protection in the server environment (Windows, Linux, Storage)

  • Automate and Integrate solutions through scripts and API calls.

  • Document projects, technologies, and rollouts following standards (such as SDLC).

  • Interact with other ISRM groups to troubleshoot problems and coordinate a quick resolution.

  • Train the operational teams to provide L1 support level as needed.

  • Conduct security assessments, determine deviations from J&J policies, assess the level of risk, and recommend appropriate mitigation countermeasures.

  • Develop and maintain reports, metrics, key performance indicators, key risk indicators, trends, operations status, playbooks, work instructions, and operational procedures.

  • Maintain knowledge of applicable ISRM policies, regulations, and compliance documents specifically related to security.

Qualifications

Required:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

  • A minimum of 6 years of related hands-on experience with Cyber Security.

  • A minimum of 2 years of related hands-on experience with programming/scripting is required.

  • Deep knowledge of enterprise security solutions (Microsoft, CrowdStrike, Trend Micro, etc).

  • Experience with Windows, Linux, and virtualization technologies.

  • Have strong systematic problem-solving experience, a sense of accountability, ownership, and drive.

  • Experience with SIEM solutions (MS Sentinel, Splunk, etc)

  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Node, PowerShell) and API integrations.

  • Experience in partnering with stakeholders to identify and address project issues.

  • Communicative and interpersonal skills, be a team player that contributes to an energetic work environment at various levels of the organization.

  • Continuous learning mindset of the latest technology trends and instituting innovative thinking/mindset throughout the organization.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Bitbucket and Jira.

  • Good knowledge of orchestration tools

  • Incident, Problem, and Change Request experienced.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Good knowledge of PowerBi or Tableau.

  • Experience effectively working with virtual, global teams – including diverse groups of people with varied backgrounds and cultural experiences.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $99,000- $170,200

  • The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

  • Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

  • Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

o Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

o Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

o Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year

o Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
