Job Description
An in-office, three-day-a-week hybrid schedule for a candidate local to one of our offices is preferred. A candidate who is not geographically close to one of our locations can be considered for fully remote work if this candidate has retirement plan administration expertise.
Manage a select group of qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, which may include all aspects of plan design, overseeing day-to-day administration, trust accounting, participant notices, plan documents, compliance testing, and leading a team of analysts. Continuously gain knowledge of the retirement plan industry through ongoing education.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and mentor analysts
Manage a select group of retirement plans
Responsible for all aspects of plan design
Oversee day-to-day administration, annual compliance testing, Form 5500 preparation, and trust accounting
Drafting participant notices and plan documents
Client relationship management ensuring high-quality deliverables
Perform project tasks independently, and direct the efforts of others
Anticipate client needs and formulate solutions to client issues
Prepare and review deliverables for accuracy and quality
Plan and lead client meetings
Provide training
Participate in prospective client proposal presentations
Manage own personal and professional development; seek opportunities for professional growth and expansion of consulting skills and experiences
Skills
Excellent problem solving including an ability to independently research and determine strategies to solve client needs
Experience fostering client relationships
Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications, including Microsoft Office and established databases
Knowledge of the Omni recordkeeping system
Basic scripting
Experience with rate group testing, earned income calculations, and other advanced types of compliance testing
Experience with retirement plan conversions, acquisitions, and divestitures
Providing excellent customer service
Critical thinking
Communicating effectively, both orally and in writing
Perform complex compliance testing, discuss plan design, prepare annual reports, and complete DOL and IRS forms
Prioritize, work independently and drive tasks to completion
Lead project teams and function with multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently
Handle multiple ongoing projects
Conduct meetings with client senior leadership
Licenses/Certifications
- QKA or QPA designation preferred

Education
Bachelor’s: Accounting, Bachelor’s: Business Administration, Bachelor’s: Finance, Bachelor’s: Mathematics
Work Experience
General Experience - 3 to 6 years
Certifications
Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) - Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA)

$80,000.00-$100000.00
