Marketing Co-Op

The Marketing Co-Op Program is a full-time, six-month experience designed to help college students develop leadership, analytical and communication skills through practical business experience and ongoing training & development, coaching and mentorship. This role will enable the student to have real-life work application of concepts and theories learned in the classroom.

This position reports into a Brand Team or Marketing Capabilities Team and is based at one of the following locations: Skillman, NJ; Fort Washington, PA.

The Co-Op Program is a six-month experience designed to help college students develop leadership, analytical and communication skills through practical business experience and ongoing training & development, coaching and mentorship. This role will enable the student to have real-life work application of concepts and theories learned in the classroom. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) assignment offered in the Spring semester (January 2024-June 2024). Co-Ops who demonstrate strong performance & professionalism will be considered for the interview slate for our full-time Marketing Leadership Development Program.

As a Marketing Co-Op, you will become an integral part of a Consumer Brand Marketing or Marketing Capabilities team. You will be involved in projects that may include the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and/or execute marketing programs and strategies to promote products to consumers, retailers and medical professionals.

  • Execute consumer and retail promotions including sampling programs & direct mail.

  • Work with creative agencies to build strong consumer communications.

  • Analyze category, brand, and media trends, share lessons learned and develop strategies to grow.

  • Facilitate Copy Clearance submission, feedback and communication.

  • Evaluate capabilities and proposals from new vendors.

  • Participate in training courses with your peers, which are focused on brand management, digital marketing, and other key functional areas

  • You will be given the opportunity to interact with senior management, including a final project presentation.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • You are legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. and not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B status)

  • Current undergraduate student in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree with an expected graduation in spring 2025, preferably with a Marketing or Business focus

  • You must be able to commit to 6 month duration - 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday) for the length of the assignment (July 2024-Dec 2024)

  • You should have a cumulative 3.0 GPA

  • Proficient in Windows software applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

  • Ability to provide own transportation between home and work office location is required
