The Merchant Portfolio Analyst - Implementation Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end implementation of merchant payment processing solutions. This role ensures that clients are onboarded efficiently, payment processing systems are integrated successfully, and projects are completed in a timely fashion and within scope. The Merchant Portfolio Analyst-Implementation Specialist partners across the broader organization and with key vendors to drive client experience and operational excellence
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the implementation of merchant processing solutions from initiation to completion
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables
Manage multiple client implementations simultaneously
Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Portfolio Management, Integrations, Contracts, Credit, Compliance, Vendors) to drive implementations to completion
Serve as the primary point of contact for merchant clients during assigned implementation
Work with internal partners to gather to gather required documentation during intake for client implementations
Complete and submit of CIMS Implementation Request and Acquiring Solutions Intake form for assigned implementation projects
Complete and submit all applicable boarding templates and forms, as needed
Engage required resources as needed to complete tasks for a successful implementation
Facilitate and attend implementation project meetings, as needed to ensure successful completion of assigned implementation projects
Track and provide updates on assigned implementation status via implementation item/record creation
Research, escalate, and resolve issues during implementation to ensure a timely implementation
Work closely with client and technical resources to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during implementation
Perform post-implementation validation (auth/settle/funding/interchange/billing)
Job Requirements:
BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience
3+ years Payments and Merchant Payment Processing experience
Strong business acumen and analytical skills
In-depth knowledge of merchant services
Team player with proven ability to interact and collaborate well with others
Focused on client satisfaction and client experience
Ability to influence and ensure successful outcomes
Proven ability research and resolve complex issues
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong organizational skills
Demonstrated effective communication skills, including written, oral, and presentation skills
Effective planning, prioritization and time management acumen
Ability to coach colleagues with less experience and/or knowledge, as necessary
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (i.e Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote
Ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures
Previous Project Management experience and working with cross-functional team is a plus
