WHAT YOU'LL DO:
We’re seeking an experienced, high caliber Principal Financial Analyst to join our Commercial team in our St. Paul, MN location. Primary responsibilities for this role include consolidation and reporting of Structural Heart monthly results, KPI tracking and dashboard output across our product franchises, and any ad hoc analysis requested from leadership. You will have an intimate understanding of the activity and variances being produced to be able to speak knowledgably when answering questions from leadership. You will also be responsible for preparing financial presentation content for executive meetings, assist with monthly financial closing activities, as well as prepare financial models, ad hoc analysis, and presentations supporting the quarterly LBE (latest best estimate) forecasting cycles.
Primary Responsibilities:
Budgeting and forecasting, profit and loss, sales analysis, gross margin, and other facets of the P&L.
Creating active KPI dashboards and updating for output for monthly results vs. LBE.
Participates in ad hoc analysis and reporting as required by finance management
Provides routine reports to leadership
Works with business partners to consolidate month-end analysis and provide commentary related to the financial close cycle
Executes annual goals and objectives as defined by the Finance team
Prepares consolidated reporting, presentations, and analysis
Complies with regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments
Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors
Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
7+ years of experience performing financial and variance analysis, forecasting, planning, and financial modeling
Previous experience working with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Experience working with financial planning applications
Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor
Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects
Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner
Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Medical device experience
Experience with Power BI
Experience with Hyperion Essbase and SAP
