Job Summary

Under limited administrative direction and with a high level of autonomy, the Director of Digital Experience utilizes the knowledge and skills acquired through education and experience to lead our digital marketing strategy and execution. Responsibilities include developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive client acquisition, engagement, and retention across various digital channels.

As a key member of our marketing team, incumbents will collaborate closely with other team members to execute integrated marketing campaigns that align with our business objectives and enhance our brand presence in the digital landscape.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive initiatives to support business objectives, including lead generation, brand awareness, and client engagement.

  • Implement search engine optimization (SEO) best practices to enhance online visibility, drive organic traffic, and optimize paid campaigns.

  • Serve as site owner, setting direction and strategy for all digital properties (RJIM site, boutique investment manager sites, and all versions of each).

  • Collaborate with partners and vendors for website development and maintenance.

  • Design site infrastructure for optimal user journey, tracking, and re-engagement.

  • Drive client acquisition, engagement, and retention across various digital channels, including email marketing, social media, search engine optimization (SEO), display advertising, and content marketing.

  • Own and coordinate all updates needed across digital properties for mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, and other products for updates needed for marketing and regulatory purposes.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing, and leverage this knowledge to keep our marketing strategies innovative and competitive.

  • Manage a team of digital marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to foster a high-performing and collaborative team culture.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of

  • Advanced concepts, practices, and procedures of marketing, websites, and digital branding.

  • Business technologies associated with digital branding.

  • Social media management.

  • Search engine optimization.

Skill in

  • Performing market research, identifying market segments, and incorporating requirements into planning processes.

  • Developing brand standard guides.

  • Implementing strategies and tactical plans across organizational lines.

  • Managing the dissemination of marketing and product communications.

  • Delivering presentations to groups.

  • Project and account management.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing analytics tools and techniques, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies, preferably within the financial services industry.

Ability to

  • Identify target audiences and prospects and develop effective campaigns.

  • Utilize digital marketing tools and processes.

  • Conduct competitive research and analysis.

  • Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements

Education/Previous Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or related field with a minimum of ten (10) years of marketing experience and a high degree of proficiency with digital marketing tools and processes

  • OR

  • An equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
