Position Summary

This position is responsible for aggressively growing sales to a group of National strategic clients that either purchase or have Headquarters in a given geography.

Core Responsibilities

The role will develop a territory strategic account plan and utilize professional selling tools for pre-call planning and documentation of sales calls to identify potential opportunities. The position will deliver compelling presentations to impact the actions, thoughts and beliefs of the audience, positioning Sherwin-Williams as a trusted partner. The role will assemble Sherwin-Williams resources to execute agreements and communicate account priorities to each Division. The position will maintain membership and active participation in key professional organizations and conduct product demonstrations/training's and competitive product comparisons to new and existing customers.

Position Requirements

EDUCATION

Required: High school diploma or comparable certification (e.g. GED)

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.

Experience in conducting outside sales calls to build new business and increase existing business.

Time management skills to organize daily planning and monthly activities.

Customer service skills, including problem solving and handling customer complaints.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Required: Minimum of 5 years in sales and management role

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Must have the ability to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
