Principal Accountabilities:
Perform ongoing assigned lead activities, including providing to support to team, in addition to performing operator roles
Operate mobile powered equipment (i.e. forklift, skid loader, sit down floor sweeper, front end loader)
Inspect buildings, grounds and equipment utilized by the facility to troubleshoot, perform light maintenance and complete repair work while coordinating with maintenance work and other teams to ensure a smooth and stable operating process
Use hand and power tools perform preventative and autonomous maintenance, troubleshoot complex machine issues and support other operators in troubleshooting and providing guidance
Monitor equipment, operate control panels, process samples, adjust machine processes using selectivity and complex decision making and utilize computer systems to input and record data and support others
Responsible for process testing, bulk commodities, and process testing for finished products
Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship
Be 18 years or older
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator
Basic computer skills
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above to 160 feet in the air)
Ability to operating mobile equipment such as a forklift
Have a minimum of 6 months of experience working in a production or plant environment
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts with advance notice
Preferred Qualifications:
A high school dipolma or GED equivalent
Computer experience being able to enter and retrieve data
Computer working knowledge of Microsoft office software, with emphasis on Excel and Word
